Act II of the Showtime Collection for BD Ediciones de Diseño was launched in April 2007. The range includes large tables and coffee tables as well as the elegant new chair that comes is a series of different finishes and accesories.

The chicken, a rather unexplored shape, found its place amongst my green dreams. I wanted to portray this common bird as a sensational object by amplifying its characteristics and dimensions, turning it into a modern piece, one of great beauty and utility: a rocking chair. The movement, subtle and constant, would give the object a zoom-like trait, a sense of speed and dynamism. My green chicken had taken on a face, a shape, a place and a function.

Composed of wooden sticks, connected by a rope, design by Enblanc studio which is created in 2007 from two young designers from Valencia based on their need to enjoy together the art of designing.

According to its creators, “Aloe gives the user the chance to choose. It’s a dildo. But visually it can also be a plant. It can be a perfect gift or even an elegant way of ending a relationship”.

“Aloe” features a rigid smooth surface and a packaging that draws inspiration from the high-cosmetics world.

Diamond Shape is part of the Diamond Collection. The table is realised in mirror-like aluminium and plate glass. The structure of the Diamond Shape is constituted from three bands of aluminum bent. Its winding shape is seductive like the light of a diamond.

The Soft Pipe comes from the shape of a woman. Paying attention to the details you can actually recognize the boots of our sweet lady … Two pipes covered with soft coloured leather and metallic parts become a dynamic, relaxed, surprising chaise lounge. The structure is totally realised in iron pipe covered with compact polyurethane.

The Diamond sofa thought by Samanta Snidaro and Andrea Fino of Sand & Birch design studio is entirely realised in mirror-like aluminium. On the wide stripe 160 crystals of Swarovsky will be disposed creating images. The lamp on its side is a fluorescent or a led one.
The Diamond sofa was thought not only for sitting, but also as an object of very provocative design. It has been studied for entering houses and, at the same time, for inspiring pure luxury.
Sand & Birch is bringing forward a project in which the objects lose their proper primitive functions and acquire other meanings. In this way, the Diamond sofa becomes an expression of predominantly aesthetical value: from just a sofa it becomes a jewel.
